The Talmud

Lecture Phase is 3 months of living in community with fellow students and staff & learning to know God through lectures, discussions, workshops, small group interaction and personal study. You will benefit from the expertise of international and local lecturers as well as living out the principles you are learning in the life of the community in which you will live.

Curriculum will include topics like The Nature and Character of God; Growing your personal relationship with God; Learning to hear God’s voice; Worship, prayer and intercession; The Word / Bible Study; Cultural Mandate/Kingdom of God; Godly Relationships; Stewardship/Work; Creating With God; Biblical World View / Discipling Nations; Spiritual Warfare; The Person and Work of Jesus / the Cross; The Fear of the Lord; Father Heart of God; Sin, Repentance and Restitution; Relinquishing rights; Identity in Christ; Renewing the mind; Person and work of the Holy Spirit; Understanding your gifts/calling/identity; Understanding missions - The Great Commission/ Sharing the Gospel with the lost / Cross cultural communication / Unreached Peoples/10/40-window /Poor and Needy / Understanding different world religions.

The JUSTICE aspect of this lecture phase will include:

• A biblical understanding of Justice and Mercy
• God’s heart for those suffering in situations of injustice
• Specific issues we will focus on may include Human trafficking; Prostitution; Slavery; Economic exploitation; Genocide; Female Genital Mutilation (FGM); Infanticide; Pornography; AIDS ; War; Political corruption; Refugees, etc.
